We need to talk about ageism and how older women are seen in their careers and as personas.
For this episode of the Woman’s MBA, I’m joined by Debra Hotaling to discuss second careers, marketing to older women, and so much more.
Debra Hotaling is a writer, communications strategist and outdoor adventure advocate. Her corporate career includes senior positions with Ford Motor Company and global PR firm Fleishman-Hillard where she served as global co-chair for the organization's sustainability and renewable energy practice group.
During her career, Hotaling has worked as features writer for the Los Angeles Times, was a regular commentator for news radio program "Marketplace" and taught at the University of Southern California while completing a Ph.D. in American literature.
As part of her adventure advocacy, Hotaling is working to encourage women of all ages and ability levels to engage in outdoor activities including skiing, rock climbing, surfing, river rafting and adventure travel.
